Disclosure is a documentary, leading trans creatives and thinkers share heartfelt perspectives and analysis about Hollywood’s impact on the trans community. It lays emphasizes on the need to have a good media representation of the Trans persons.

Some very important highlights from the movies include but not limited to:

1. Trans people don’t die from the intake of hormones but societal ignorance and hatred.

2. Trans persons are not subject of jokes as many people make fun of trans persons on National televisions and social media.

3. Trans persons are not serial killers, drugs abusers, pedophiles or impersonators as often shown on movies.

4. Trans persons are not Lesbians/Gays.

5. Its rude to ask Trans persons about their private parts (E.g Have you had the operations yet?).

6. Trans persons are not confused.

Well, correct pronouns are important because they possess some degree of respect so misgendering is an act of disrespect.Gender is still valid whether or not you understand it.Some gender non-specific pronouns include but are not limited to: ze, zir, hirself/zieself, eirself, eirself… Etc.

The diversity in us is what makes us unique in our different ways Imagine a world where we all look the same, sound the same, have the same hair cut, wear the same cloth funny right?

Give equal opportunity to everyone regardless of who/what they are. After-all, our diversities are the unique colours that brightens the world just like the rainbow.

How can leaders who are held in high esteem vested with the responsibilities of protecting lives still make laws criminalizing humans over factors these human beings have no choices over.

No one ever had choices of how they want to be created right?

Barbarians still lives amongst humans else how do you explain the excitement and pleasure people get from dehumanizing others and making them object of ridicule.

Everyone has got flaws and weaknesses yet with these imperfections you still love, adore and accept yourself right?

Transgender persons are assigned sex at birth different from their gender identity and in some cases some have both sexes (Intersex). How Is gender identity, gender expression and sex characteristics a crime?
