Today is an opportunity for allies to show their support and stand in solidarity with transgender folks all over the world most importantly Trans folks in Kenya, Uganda and East Africa. It is a day to remember to celebrate the resilience, bravery and persistence of transgender individuals. Trans folks deserve respect, acceptance, and equality, and we should work towards a world where all can live without fear of discrimination or violence.
